My Money is Still in My Pocket - An Open Letter to Gymboree

Dear Gymboree,
This evening I was at your location in the Stonestown mall. I was going to buy the following items:

I didn't, though. Here's why -
I stood in line. I was next. One employee was occupied helping a customer. The other employee was doing sidework. She was standing at the register completing some paperwork that had nothing to do with the customer in line (me) or the two customers standing behind me. All of us had cranky babies with us. We all wanted to get home and cook dinner. I'm sure the other customers wanted us to leave, too.
Instead of buying what I had picked out, put it all on the counter and walked out. Now I have some money to spend at Pumpkin Patch, or Baby Gap, or even Macys.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

CHIPPER S-BUX CASHIER: Do you like your mornings to be this crazy or do you like to ease in slowly to your day?

ME: Umm, I like the regular kind.

I did it. I'm sorry. - An Open Letter to My fellow Muni Riders

Dear Fellow Muni Riders,

I'd like to apologize. I'm sorry. It was all my fault.

See, last night there was this dinner at my sister-in-law's house.

The dinner was in honor of my father in law turning the big 79. My father-in-law is a great guy. You should be jealous of me with how great a father-in-law I have, but I just didn't feel like going out to dinner last night. I like Thursdays. Thursdays are my favorite night of the week. The TV viewing is pretty good. It's the penultimate day of the work-week. It's the night I get to sit back, sigh, and say "yay, tomorrow is Friday." Thursday evening is usually pretty good. Last night I was in the mood to have a nice, relaxing Thursday night.

Before I left work last night I said to my co-worker "maybe something will happen tonight on my way home so I won't have to go to dinner, so I can stay home."

Yes folks. I'm the cause. I screwed up muni last night. Because of my powerful power of thought, I'm the one responsible for downing the L lines at 36th and Sunset. I'm the one that caused all of the residual problems resulting in the loss of the L, K and M for the evening. I'm the one responsible for your horrible ride home. I'm the one who caused this . . .
I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I hope you all got home safely and had a beverage of your choice waiting for you when you got home.

If it's any consolation, it took me 2 hours to get home and I still had to go to the sister-in-law's for dinner and we didn't get home until after 9pm.

Can you ever forgive me?
Andrea

Nice Pictures - Where'd you steal them from?

Some of the pictures in my blog were taken by a photographer called Julie Michele. Some of the pictures were either taken by me or someone I know. Some of the pictures were ripped right from the internet, mostly from google image searches from photographers to whom I may or may not give credit.

Rest assured I make no money from any of it.
