Defending Cloris Leachman's Beauty

I've been written up two times in professional career. The first time was sometime in the early 2000s and I probably deserved it.

The second time was so totally bogus. It was around 2011-ish. 


I received a written warning for telling a coworker she looked like Cloris Leachman. Yeah, you read that right. 

At my counseling session I had to defend Cloris Leachman's beauty and how it wasn't at all a slight on my coworker.  When I showed them a picture of Cloris Leachman, my boss did agree that my coworker looks like her, and it wasn't an insult. The coworker grumbled and dropped her complaint against me.
